Alegre Corrêa is a Brazilian musician and composer with a solid international career. He lived in Vienna for over 20 years, where he launched his work and had the opportunity to play alongside great music legends, such as Joe Zawinul - founder of Weather Report, and Vienna Art Orchestra - one of the most important European jazz orchestras. He also had received awards such as the Hans Koeller Prize – once for best album of the year and once for best musician of the year, and the Grammy Awards for the 75th album by Zawinul & The Syndicate for best performance in Contemporary Jazz.
